bold idea

Improve access to life-saving emergency medical assistance for the deaf community and other vulnerable communities by offering a free, 24/7 mobile app.

organization overview

accesSOS helps save lives by ensuring emergency assistance is accessible to all, especially those facing communication barriers. accesSOS simultaneously leverages innovation to raise awareness and advocates for policies prioritizing emergency accessibility. Traditional emergency systems like 911, 112, and 999 are built on voice-only communication, excluding millions unable to hear, speak, or discreetly request help. accesSOS created a free, 24/7 mobile app as a solution. With an icon-based interface, the app swiftly converts text into emergency voice calls, sharing crucial information and location with dispatchers. Available in multiple languages, the app serves as a lifeline for those in need.
