Ensure low-income communities with sub-standard energy access employ renewable solutions by partnering with local entrepreneurs to create clean tech businesses.
organization overview
Qorax Energy creates a vehicle for entrepreneurs in low-income, hard-to-reach areas like Somalia to solve energy access issues in their communities with renewable solutions. Qorax partners with local educational institutions to create renewable energy business incubators. The incubators use a collaborative process to define the most critical local energy issues and train entrepreneurs to create businesses that scale the adoption of high-impact, clean domestic energy technologies. Qorax is building a network of renewable energy business incubators in the Global South to rapidly scale renewable technology adoption and facilitate knowledge transfer between communities facing extreme energy infrastructure issues.
