LaborX, the LinkedIn for the LinkedOut, links people who are currently linked out of the knowledge economy to good jobs. As a talent marketplace, LaborX connects hiring managers to vocational, boot camp, apprenticeship, and community college graduates through predictive skill analytics and 3D resumes. Many of its programs support diverse groups like young people, veterans, and immigrants who have the skills but lack the networks to access good jobs. LaborX believes in a world where everyone can contribute to the workforce, regardless of pedigree or social capital.

Personal Bio

Yscaira Jimenez is the CEO of LaborX, the LinkedIn for the LinkedOut, linking people who are currently linked out of the knowledge economy to good jobs. As a talent marketplace, LaborX connects hiring managers to vocational, boot camp, apprenticeship and community college graduates using predictive skill analytics and 3d resumes. Many of the programs we source from support diverse demographics such as opportunity youth, veterans, and immigrants who have the skills but lack the networks to connect to good jobs. LaborX believes in a world where everyone can contribute their skills and potential to the workforce, regardless of pedigree or social capital. Yscaira is also a coach and curriculum consultant for MIT Bootcamps/MIT Open Learning.

Yscaira was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, NY. She’s worked for 3 education startups bringing tutoring to 10,000 low opportunity students. She’s a serial entrepreneur and is currently building LaborX. She attended Columbia University (03) and MIT (14) and speaks 4 languages. She’s an avid fiction reader, hiker, Capoerista, and traveler, visiting over 40 countries across 5 continents.
