Personal Bio

Tonya Daniel, founder of Enjoy The Baby, LLC, is a compassionate and highly skilled birth worker with over two decades of experience in the field. Her dedication to improving birth outcomes was sparked by a personal tragedy, the loss of her son during her fifth month of pregnancy. Refocusing her academic training in sociology and public health, Tonya became a DONA-certified birth doula and trainer, as well as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Fellow in the American College of Childbirth Educators, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Tonya’s belief in the importance of empowering families, particularly families of color, to make informed decisions and advocate for themselves has led her to support hundreds of families in achieving their birth goals. She has also trained hundreds of doulas, passing on her knowledge and expertise to others. Her work has earned her a respected reputation in the birth community, both domestically and internationally. Tonya’s passion for providing compassionate care and ensuring that families have the best birth experience possible is evident in every aspect of her work.
